Sentinel-1A aims to replace the Earth observation satellite that is close to its operational life. Later, the European Space Agency launched Sentinel-1B Earth Monitoring Satellite in 2016. Sentinel-1 spacecraft is designed to carry a 12 meter long C-band synthetic aperture radar antenna and install two 10 meter long solar panels. Sentinel-1a satellite weighs about 2.3 tons and will be in synchronous orbit with the sun. The orbit period is about 96 minutes, the operating life is estimated to be 7.25 years, and the data storage capacity is 1410 Gbit and 520 Mbit/s X-band downlink capacity. During this period, the satellite can scan up to 400 kilometers and provide 8000 giga bit images every day. Sentinel-1A data and photos provide a series of operational services and span a variety of applications, including Arctic sea ice, daily sea ice mapping, marine environment monitoring and monitoring research, monitoring ground movement risks, forest mapping, water and soil management and mapping. This data set contains the lifting track data products of SLC and GRD-HD.
