A high-resolution monthly precipitation dataset for the Qilian Mountains (2001-2018) was generated by integrating 12 precipitation products using the Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA) method. Validation at meteorological stations and watershed scales demonstrates significant accuracy improvements compared to the original 12 products, providing reliable baseline data for precipitation studies and related hydrological research in the Qilian Mountains.

Monthly Precipitation D12 precipitation products from publicly released datasets are ERA5-Land, HAR V2, FLDAS, GLDAS, TRMM, IMERG, PERSIANN, CMORPH, CHIRPS, MSWEP, CMFD, WorldClim. ataset for the Qilian Mountains (2001-2018).
Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA).
The median values of the validation results for the 29 meteorological stations were as follows: correlation coefficient R2 = 0.91; absolute error MAE = 7.6 mm, root mean square error RMSE = 11.9 mm, consistency index d = 0.97.The median values of the validation results for the 18 sub-basins were as follows: correlation coefficient R2 = 0.43; absolute error MAE = 40.4 mm, average root mean square error RMSE = 47.2 mm, and consistency index d = 0.62.
