This dataset is an analysis of water-soluble salts in water samples from the lower reaches of the Tarim River from 2000 to 2007. It contains three tables: the Water Soluble Salt Analysis Report of Water Samples from the Lower Reaches of the Tarim River from 2000 to 2007, the Statistical Table of Monitoring Indicators for the Lower Reaches of the Tarim River from 2000 to 2007, and the Data Document Description. The main monitoring indicators include groundwater level, groundwater water-soluble salts, Populus euphratica photosynthetic characteristics, soil moisture content, salinity and bulk density characteristics, soil salinity, soil nutrients, plant physiological indicators, and plant plots.
The analysis includes 13 indicators such as mineralization degree, pH, CO3=, HCO3-, Cl -, SO4=, Ca++, Mg++, Na+, K+, etc.
The analysis methods are: mineralization degree: weight method; Total alkalinity, HCO3-, and CO3=: dual indicator titration method; Cl-： Silver nitrate titration method; SO4=: EDTA volumetric method and barium chromate photometric method; Total hardness: EDTA volumetric method; Ca++, Mg++: EDTA volumetric method and atomic absorption spectrophotometry; Na+、K+： Flame photometry and atomic absorption spectrophotometry; PH value: measured by PHS-2C digital acidity meter; Conductivity: measured by DDS-307 conductivity meter.
