This data set carries out U-Pb dating of zircon minerals in Yijun formation of Lower Cretaceous in the southern part of Ordos Basin by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). Three sampling points were selected for the data. The sample information in Linyou area is ly-28 (n 34 ° 43'26.7 ″, e 107 ° 42'52.7 ″, H 1092 m), ly-06 (n 34 ° 44'56.1 ", e 107 ° 42'32.9", H 1203 m), and the sample information in Binxian area is bx-13 (n 35 ° 02'57.2 ", e 108 ° 06'14.2", H 826 m). The data include three sets of isotope ratios (207Pb / 206Pb, 207Pb / 235U, 206Pb / 238U) and corresponding ages.

The laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (geolas PRO + Agilent 7500a) was used for measurement, and the laser beam spot diameter was 30 μ m。 The international standard zircon 91500 is used as the external standard reference material in the test process, nist610 is used as the external standard for element content, and 29Si is used as the internal standard.
Glitter4.0 software was used for data processing, and isoplot 4.15 program was used for age calculation and chart making.
Clastic zircon ages with concordance between 90% and 110% are mainly selected for the study, of which 206Pb / 238U ages are used for those less than 1.0ga and 207Pb / 206 Pb ages are used for those greater than 1.0ga.
